2.2 Automatically Collected Data

• IP Address: We log your IP address to prevent abuse, spam, and ensure security.
• User-Agent: Browser and device information to help us understand usage patterns and provide better service.
• Timestamps: Date and time when content is created, edited, or accessed.
• View counts: Number of times a page is viewed (stored anonymously).

2.3 Cookies and Local Storage

• Draft autosave: We use browser localStorage to automatically save your drafts locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser unless you choose to publish.
• Essential cookies: We may use minimal cookies for security features like CAPTCHA verification.
• We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

• Content: Your paste content remains stored until you delete it using your edit key, or until we remove it for policy violations or legal reasons.
• Logs: IP addresses and access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted.
• Deleted content: When you delete a paste, it is permanently removed from our servers within 24 hours. Associated images that are not used by other pastes are also deleted.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Content control: You have full control over your content. Keep your edit key safe to modify or delete your pastes.
• Privacy settings: Choose whether to publish your content publicly or keep it private (accessible only via direct link).
• Right to deletion: You can delete your content at any time using the edit key provided when you create a paste.
• No account required: We don't require registration, so there's no account data to manage or delete.
• Report content: Use the Report feature to flag content that violates our policies.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Access controls: We limit access to user data to authorized personnel only.
• Regular backups: We maintain regular backups to prevent data loss.
• Security monitoring: We monitor for suspicious activity and potential security threats.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Just Paste App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove such information.
