During my work on children’s rights awareness sessions, I led a small team of fellow students to organize events in local schools and community centers. The biggest challenge was motivating team members who had busy schedules and limited experience in community outreach. Some were hesitant to engage directly with families or speak in public sessions. To address this, I focused on building a shared sense of purpose. I explained the impact our work could have on vulnerable children, assigned roles based on each member’s strengths, and provided guidance and encouragement throughout the process. As a result, the team became more confident and proactive. We successfully conducted four awareness sessions, reaching over 400 children and parents. The experience taught me the importance of clear communication, empathy, and aligning individual motivations with collective goals.
