I want to talk about Claude. It's probably the most popular AI assistance in software developing community. And I've heard about it probably two or three years ago when AI-assisted development was starting to become a thing. But then, earlier this year, my company finally decided to enforce the use of AI into our software development workflow with the hope of boosting our productivity. And I think the transition from conventional programming to AI assistant programming is mind-blowing. So instead of just typing down code, I actually start to ask AI to generate pieces of code and then also ask it to explain part of the code that was written by previous developers. You can also ask it to, you know, like explaining some general programming concepts and many other stuffs. So it's definitely useful. As to why I find it difficult to use, it's not that I don't know how to use this. It's just that I feel like I'm just barely scratching the surface because AI assisted developing is not just about asking AI to generate pieces of code for you. It's also about integrating the tool with other systems. So you can also ask it as, you know, Claude to Even I inspected one of the requirements from our product manager and then implemented the code itself without giving any further guidance. You can also ask us to do code review and then deploy the code to test environments or even production environments. You can do a lot of stuff with Claude, but to fully harness its potential, I think it's a rather steep learning curve, and I'm still in the middle of learning it. It involves a lot of configurations and also being aware of confidentiality, best practice, and all kind of that stuff. But hopefully in the near future I can finally master it and then make my software development life a little bit much more easier.
