The rapid increase in the elderly population has highlighted the need for intelligent healthcare and companionship solutions. Elderly individuals often face challenges such as forgetting medications, chronic health issues, delayed emergency responses, and social isolation. This mini project proposes an AI-driven Intelligent Companion and Healthcare Monitoring System that integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and IoT-based wearable sensors. The system monitors vital signs like heart rate and movement patterns, detects anomalies, and provides medication reminders. It also features a multilingual voice assistant capable of understanding and responding in Indian languages such as Telugu and Hindi, ensuring accessibility for non-English speakers. In emergencies, the system automatically alerts caregivers. Additionally, the NLP module provides conversational engagement and emotional support to reduce loneliness. This project demonstrates how AI can enhance safety, independence, and overall quality of life for elderly individuals while reducing caregiver workload.
