When several insulation products arrive together, the label is a useful connection between the physical pack and the order line. Keep that connection before separating or moving packs.
Read the product form, dimensions and stated facing against the current order description. Record the pack or batch reference where it is supplied. A similar colour or appearance is not enough to identify two packs as the same product.
For boards and blankets, compare the stated dimensions and packing basis. For preformed pipe sections, include the pipe diameter and insulation thickness in the receiving record. Use the units printed in the order and ask for clarification if the delivery documents use a different basis.
If a label is unclear or differs from the order, photograph it and retain the relevant packing-list line. Keep the question attached to that material reference while the supplier responds. Product acceptance and any performance assessment remain with the responsible project team.
